Purpose and Main Tasks of the Department for Student Affairs

Purpose:

The main purpose of the Department for Student Affairs is to provide comprehensive support for students in the educational process, create a favorable learning environment, promote extracurricular engagement, involve active students in educational and social activities, foster their intellectual and moral development, and contribute to the formation of their professional and personal competencies.

Main Tasks:

  • Organize and coordinate educational activities aimed at developing civic responsibility, morality, and cultural awareness among students.
  • Develop and implement programs in the fields of educational, social, and youth policy within the institution.
  • Support the development of student self-government, providing organizational assistance to student councils, clubs, and associations.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct cultural, sports, and social events.
  • Organize and oversee measures of social support for students.
  • Cooperate with other structural units of the university, government bodies, public organizations, and partners to implement youth policy and support student initiatives.
